This is an older hotel, but the rooms were excellent. Everything was updated. Everything was clean and the price was way cheaper than any other hotel around this area. This hotel goes by the old saying.Don't judge a book by its cover!

Love the location - close enough to access everything but not super busy. The rooms were very nice and clean. It looks recently remodeled. Plus they let us park our car here while we are on a cruise.

Rooms are spotless. Old style motel vibe, very handy for cruise ships. Warm welcome from reception. Good value compared to nearby chain hotels. Parking right in fron to rooms. Large comfy bed, cold a/c. Great for a couple of nights. Will use again. Booked direct and got a great deal.

Rooms were exceptionally clean with daily housekeeping services. Very quiet even though on a busy road. Sits back enough that you don't hear traffic or the guests in the next room. Air conditioner runs a lot but runs smoothly with no rattling. Need to upgrade their towels but always left clean ones every day. Management very nice, accommodating and easy to deal with. Have stayed there three times now. Location has access to all major routes

The Apollo Inn was perfect for my overnight stay. My room was super clean, modernized, and comfortable. I felt the room was priced appropriately and Mina (the person who checked me in) couldn’t have been nicer. Perfect for the price!

First and foremost, I gave my word that I'd honestly review this hotel to the owner. Why 4 stars? Let's start right at the beginning. I booked this hotel on booking.com (recommended by the property), choosing a 2 queen bed room for my 2 children and I is our 'usual' when we travel. On arrival, the lady asked if a one bed would be good enough, and I said yes (it's fine, they're my children and it happens from time to time) - I've never thrown a fit or said anything when checking in, keep it drama-free. The owner directed me to the list of rules on the glass separator, making it a point to say there would be no refunds ever, even if there were issues. Okay. Haven't ever complained, not going to start now. During our talking, she asked what we were doing there, I advised that bringing my two girls to see a rocket launch was #1 priority. Hearing this, she advised that we would need a 2-bed room (which we already paid for...) After coming back to the window, she advised that 2 beds rooms can only hold 2 people, and I would need to pay $21.30 additional for a third person on top of the $145.60 already paid for a 2-queen bed room. She showed me that booking only showed "1 person", which we always choose 1 adult 2 children. I'm not going to argue, I don't operate the third party site, but while standing there I did verify the receipt on my end showed 1 adult 2 children, whatever. So for the first time in my 26 years staying at hotels, I was charged a fee for a person. Crazy. It's worth noting that she charged this as a separate direct charge, rather than updating the booking.com charge. This is typically done to avoid any 'red flags' with their booking services. The room was okay for a motel (this is not a hotel, it's a roadside motel). The room was clean, it did have minor damage here and there, but for a 'cheap motel' that is to be expected. The beds were very firm, and the pillows firm as well. The convenience store mini-fridge in the corner was pretty comical to see, Bud Light sponsoring a motel room. For an additional $10 cash, the owner showed us a house under construction two down from the public boat launch to the north where others watch rocket launches. She was very firm in saying that the whole boat launch will be filled with people hours before every launch, and her secret spot she is offering would be the only chance we might have to see the launch in that area. If you are tempted, it's worth the money (we have no clue if it's their house, just walked behind it and down a middle-of-the-water dock to watch, it was worth it). That being said: The boat launch/ramp had 1 other vehicle there watching the launch that evening - who happened to be guests two doors down from us - kind of felt suckered out of another $10, but it was a positive experience for my girls. The boat ramp is the Port St John boat ramp, and the house we snuck behind is 6460 US-1, under construction but we parked in the front and walked to the left behind it to the very long dock on the waterway. The owner also shared a pair of gifts for my girls that was very kind of her to do. Overall, it was a good motel for what it is, but I'm still miffed over being charged extra for a person for the first time ever. We've stayed in more than 600 different hotels in the last 13 years and this has not happened. Oh well, learning lessons are hard sometimes!

Definitely worth staying at Apollo Inn! I stayed with my family (3 Adults) and made an online reservation. Just a heads-up: Apollo Inn has a clear policy that if your booking is for 3 adults, only 3 can stay. Extra guests mean an additional fee, so be sure to include the correct number of guests when reserving to avoid any surprises. They’re very welcoming when everything’s clear upfront. As for the stay, it’s a hidden gem! The rooms are super clean, modern, and come with comfy beds, a TV, and daily room service. The front desk staff is friendly and professional. Plus, it’s conveniently located near Cocoa Village, Kennedy Space Center, and Cape Canaveral. Bonus: cheap chilled sodas available at the front desk and free homemade ice if you ask nicely. A great spot all around! WORTH IT.
